Help

I have been on 7-10 vics a day for at least 2 years.  I have just quit,  I applied and Clonidine patch on tonight and I want to know how long does it take for the patch to kick in.  Havid that tingling prickly feeling all over and can't sleep.  Any advice?? Took 5HTP and Benadryl and now I am extremely
tired but no sleep yet.  Thanks.

The drug is usually out of your system within 48 hours, detox is complete I think after 7 days.  If you have a Dr. talk to them.  i got Ambien for 7 days, it works miracles when you have slept.  If not , it will pass.

Hi keywhite ,,,,the first week was Rough  for me (I also took way to many vics over the past 4 years, diareehha for 3 days,,, RLS ( hot soaks in the tub helped me here) shakes ,,, after about 5 days I started to be able to sleep ok ,,,no more D, started feeling better ,HANG IN THERE
I am now over 5 weeks clean and feel SOOOOO much better,,this forum helped me the most ,,I also used the THOMAS receipe ,, it helped too ... take care Tom
