Headaches

Went to the doctor again on Monday...they gave me a shot of demerol to knock the headache out (which it did) and while it is still slightly there, not quite as bad as before.  Still have some other meds to take and having a CAT scan today just to make sure there's nothing going on in my brain (I can assure you there is not, according to my wife ;-)

you know...i get tension headaches all the time too...and in june i started walking 30 minutes every day at a brisk pace...the period between july and october i had virtually no migraines or headaches. unfortunately a couple weeks ago i stopped doing my walks and the headaches returned.

i've had migraines my whole life so i do know the source of them....right now its weather and work related stress.......but what i'm getting at is walking really did help for me. its also a natural and very effective mood booster....something that helps a lot with stress related headaches.

i do hope you find some relief soon. its terrible to hurt every day.

yes, too many brains...hah!   I think more than anything it's stress and tension related...I've got enough of that for everybody in here to take a little.

Jim~  Sorry to hear this;you've been dealing with this for a while now!  Let us know what the CT shows, if anything.  Sometimes it's completely sinus related.
