But Can someone please explain to me how this site works now. I logged in and had messages from people. I'm super new at this...if someone has a little bit of time I'd greatly appreciate it!!!

There have been a few issues that MedHelp is working on that are causing glitches in Internet Explorer. It could be that too. They will get it fixed as soon as they can.
Do spend some time in your profile. Look at settings, add the Tracker etc..

I tried to send someone a note. I deleted what was already written in there (i think it just said "i'd like to say HI" or something) and I wrote what I wanted. When I went to post it, it went back to the orginal message. Totally Lame! So I had to re do it. Not that it's a big deal. Just didn't know why it did that.

At the upper right of page you will see tiny letters that say inbox / logout - the inbox will have a number in parentheses (2) and that is the number of messages....just mouse over it and left click your mouse. Or got to the My Med Help page at top (same procedure) and you will see all kinds of new stuff - ask away!
If you move your mouse curser over a person's screen name, you have choices for sending notes, messages (private), and other information.
You already know how to post , so that is not the issue.
To see your profile, and activity, go to the top of the screen when logged in and click on "my medline".
That gets you going.
Some folks may want to add you as a friend. You choose if you want to .. Most would say "yes" why not, we are here for support and to be supported.
Notes can be seen by anyone.
Private Messages, stay private to the 2 persons in contact with each other.
