Need Advise

Hey guys, I need some advise.  I've been off / on of vicadin for about 2 years... I've was only taking them on weekends, but as I found out that too has consequences.  So I stopped a week and a half ago CT.  I felt ok for a couple of days (normal), then the w/d symptons kicked in.  It actually isn't that bad, but most of it was alergetic eyes, no energy, and I noticed my breath is really warm when I breathe out (anyone else ever get that?).

Well, yesterday I felt like absolute ****... and I had a presentation I had to do that night so I cheated a little bit.  I cut a methadone in 1/4ths and took that to help.  one fourth of a 10mg pill, so 2.5mg of methadone.  I haven't actually had methadone for like 3 years now so I'm not sure why I thought that would help.  Well, after taking the 2.5mg section about 20 minutes afterward I immediately felt better... kind of scary actually.  I did the presentation and it went awesome, but my question is... did I just screw myself by doing that?  Did I just basically reset this whole week and a half back to zero?

Hey lucyred... thanks for the reply.  Trust me, you don't have to convince me to stay away from that stuff... I used to take it 3 years ago when I thought it was just a regular pain killer... and after only 4 months of using it I started feeling funny and so when I decided to stop the withdrawls hit me like a ton a bricks... for like a month!  I'm never getting into that stuff again!  And any body reading this... DON'T MESS WITH IT!!!

hun, i doubt it, but stay away from the methodone.  it is the hardest to kick of all.  21 days, and i still felt like trash.  3 months, and i stll have low energy.  don't mess with that stuff, please.  it will screw you up big time.
