Not suppose to ask

I remember someone saying something like not to ask about how long a drug stays in your system, but I was curious about how long the oxycodone 30mg stays in your blood. That's what I was taking.

My husband and I own our business so since I have been honest with him I don't think he will be giving me a urine test anytime soon. We do request our employees take them when they start and unless there is a problem we don't persist. Not to sound cheap but they cost us money. We have about 50 employees and some are part time so you do the math.

But does anyone know how long oxycodone stays in your system?

Jules

You can google that and come up with a table of hal lifes of different drugs. I had to do it for a client I was trying to get life insurance for. I can't remember the site but I know I found the info I was looking for.
Good Luck

You are right , the majority of them will be removed . If someone comes across one like that and it has not been removed yet then what I said to Sarah is a good one ,Then just let either GTMI ,myself or med help know .

what do we say or not say to those who ask or do we report it?  Just wondering.  Am glad you clarified this.

Just to clarify. It was meant to be toward those who are inquiring about tests to beat them. Or about pills and to identify them. It's not our job here. It also was to address why some posts were deleted by MedHelp. It is not a 'rule' but a guideline to keep us on track as to why we are here. BTW,  avisg or I cannot make rules. This is MedHelp's site.

I never heard of such a rule that we can't answer questions like that. Since when? Who said?
I think it stays in your blood about 3-5 days.
I guess, if it's against some weird rule...I'll find out.

Jules, I am not over-reacting. I just apologized. Again, I apologize.

She did so because she has probably seen enough of my posts to know I was asking an honest question and that I'm sincere.

Not to be rude--but why are you over reacting to this?

Jules....my sincere apologies if I upset you. I have been here several months and had just read a post by GTMI that said we should not answer these questions so I was just following his advice. Sorry if I upset you.

Well, if you can answer her in a PM, why are we told not to answer these? Then I get attitude for following rules?

Sorry, that was really just a joke. I have been honest with him and I was lucky that I had only been on them for 9 months because I injured my knee. I was taking several different medicines and I thought that oxycodone was to take the swelling away and then relieve the pain. My withdraws were not near as bad as some peoples I read about, so I consider myself lucky.

I think most people have seen me on this forum long enough to know I'm sincere about what I post. I think when someone like me asks an honest question even just because I was curious and interested in knowing how long and it's not answered--WHY AGAIN WAS IT NOT ANSWERED?? I THINK THAT IS WRONG.

Just out of curiosity, if you have been honest and he is your hubby, why would he test you?
