Look what the cat dragged in....
Hello my friends...it has been a loooooonnnnngggg while. Good to see some old "Randoms" are still around and keeping things going...helping the newby's.
Sally and I are doing well. She is still clean...almost a year now...from the Soma. We have had ups and downs, but she has not gone back to that poison. Addiction is a tricky thing. If you don't run it...it will run you and ruin you for that matter. She has done well. She has re-committed her life to Christ and we have joined a church. We got married in October (before the vote in Calif) and got baptized by our pastor last month. We go to church on Sundays and Bible Study on tuesday nights. There are quite a few "recoveree's" that go to our church which is really good because we all help and encourage eachother without judging...I guess not everyone is made for "the program".
All in all, things are pretty great. Most of the time, being the parents of my two teenage boys is our major focus. Even with all we have been through with them, she has not gone back to the Soma. We talk about it and I still check in with her once in a while and she is still in therapy. You really have to work to make it work, you know????
So...just wanted to pop in and say hello. Hope you all are well. Drop me a note. I am working now, so I can check in with you guys now and see who needs some encouraging words.

I forgot to tell you....She quit smoking two weeks ago!!! I'm telling you, with faith comes progress!!! hehehe
It is good to see you both :) I'm so happy for you and Sally.. Soma are so very destructive.. Boy oh Boy did you stick in there.. Thank goodness as you both sound so Happy.. Congratulations on Sallys clean time and Your job.. Take care.. lesa
