***So What are we doing for the 4th?***

Just curious what everyone's doing for the 4th of July.  The BOYTOY invited me to some party that a friend of his is having.  I don't know if I am going or not......May just stay home and take care of my dogs when the illegal fireworks go off.

I have a date for the fireworks display.  My most favorite little man in the whole wide world asked me if i wanted to sit with him so i wouldnt be scared of the loud noises!!!!  Then im veggin out!!!!

Enjoy the pool and hot tub, sit on the deck and watch the fireworks from the surrounding communities, mow the grass, do some plumbing, ride my motorcycle, go on a picnic with my wife and walk the dog.

I am going up to the cabin. Sit by the river and chill out. Then Saturday we are having an Ice Cream social where all the other folks around bring homemade Ice Cream or sweets. It's a definite sugar high, but fun. Sometimes there is about 30 types.

Well, since we don't know how the little one is going to react to the noises of the fireworks we are going across the street where it is legal to do fireworks. My in-laws are across the street and it's a different county! So we will hang there this year and if the little one doesn't like them we can just run inside the house.....and I have a thing about being on the road on holidays b/c of all the drunk drivers and I am pretty sure we are going to be good crossing the street! Of course we will grill burgers or steaks or whatever!

Curious to see how my "little" man reacts to the fireworks!

I'll be working. Then probably watching the fireworks from the patio, I have a great open view of them. Meanwhile trying to calm the dogs down, the go nuts.

I took my kids to see fireworks last night..(yeah tues) wth is up with that?? Anyway..they were pretty cool..but..as for the weekend.I am babysitting like I always do so some other couple can go have fun...sighhhh..so I'll basically be on med-help..lol

OMG, I bet my chihuahua's are going to freak out and bark none stop the whole night. Hahaha They bark when a gnat farts so I'm sure the fireworks will set 'em off.

Not sure what we are doing.  I love watching fireworks and we usually go to the next town over from us and watch them. Will depend on how my wife is feeling, plus I'm on call for work and can't be too far from my laptop..though I suppose I can take it with me since I have a wireless card.  The kids all go somewhere else, so it will likely just be me and the missus and Bear, the dog.  If we go.  Earlier will probably be doing some stuff around the house (if my back will take it) and maybe grill a couple of rib eyes for me and the missus..

Either that or we'll just stay home and do nothing and eat peanut butter and jelly sammiches.

We have an added reason to celebrate this year because our grandbaby will celebrate her first birthday on the fourth.I had a shirt made for her that says'our little firecracker is ONE today."I can't believe it's already been a year.I hope you all have a safe wonderful holiday. Peace.

unfortunately, my back isn't hurting for those reasons :-)  as it turned out we didn't go out for the fireworks..my wife wasn't feeling too hot..her emotional state isn't the best at the moment..so we stayed home..I watched some on TV..woopie ;-)  not bad with a hdtv.  Dinner turned out to be a couple of hot dogs.

My wife found out today she's been approved for disability which put her in a better mood.  But, 3 years of pain and other issues have left her fairly depressed.
