Twilight

I started reading the book series from "Twilight" this past weekend and I'm addicted.  I finished the first book (over 500 pages in one full night - I was sick and couldn't sleep anyway)!  My hubby went and picked up the second book for me the next morning and I finished that within a day in a half (over 500 pages) and I am biting at the bit to read the next one, but my mother stopped me from buying it.  I think she got if for me for Christmas!  UGH!!!  I'm thankful, but I want it now!  LOL!!!!

Has anyone else loved this series as much as I have.  I even keep dreaming about Edward, the vampire!  I guess I always did like the bad boys!  LOL!!!

I just bought that book over Thanksgiving weekend.  Unfortunately, I had half a book to go of something else I was reading so my husband grabbed Twilight and started reading it first and he's only halfway through - he's a slow reader and I'm more like you - I could finish it in a day, so I am impatiently waiting for him to finish so I can read it!  I cannot wait and I'm glad you posted that, now I'm even more anxious to read it!!!

Yes, it's a series.  I just finished the third book, "Eclipse" while I was sick in bed yesterday.  Loved it the best of all of them so far!  I'm looking forward to the sequels!!!!

I saw the movie Friday night and it was wonderful!!  It was kinda sexy.  I was surprised the Cedric from Harry Potter played Edward so well!  It looked good!

They are addictive.  I told my hubby I was in love with Edward the vampire and he told me he knew that when he got his dentures he should have added fangs!  LOL!!!!!

I LOVE the book so far, only about 150 pages through the first one, second one is on its way to my house from Amazon :):) I was actually hoping I'd dream about vampires last night! didn't happen...haha. Glad I'm not the only one helpinutah!! lol

I've heard that they expect to release New Moon next December - I don't know if I can wait that long!  LOL!!!

I love to call Edward my VILF (vampire I'd like to ****) and the creator of dazzlegasms lol, he's just soooo amazing. I have the DVD bootleg now and can't stop watching it and re-reading the bokos lol!!! And yes New Moon comes out Dec 2009 Yeaya!!!!!!

My mother bought me Breaking Dawn for Christmas, but she gave it to me last night!  So, since I'm sick and couldn't sleep - up coughing all night, I read and read - this is wonderful!!!  I wish I was home reading!!!

I blew through the first two, but like you said, I'm trying to pace myself on this third one.  I'm so worried I'm going to finish this series and then be so disappointed with whatever I start to read after this!  I don't want it to end.  Maybe you or HelpinUtah can recommend some good reads for me when this is over.
I'm going to have to go buy the last book tonight or tomorrow.
OK, I'll go see the movie this weekend - can't wait!!

WOW, I love the first book so much so far, I haven't read a book in about 3 years.. probably due to addiction issues and lack of interest in anything... evidently I picked the right one to read!!! lol, so glad so many of you love it too! :) I'm going to have to see the movie for sure! It was so funny, I told my mom that I'd bought the book and she laughed and said it was next to her bed and she'd been reading it and enjoying it also (she reads TONS of books) but she had bought it 3 months ago before she even knew of the movie! Great minds think alike...lol

I forgot to add, New Moon came in the mail today from Amazon, I better hurry up and finish Twilight! lol... That is an awesome site to get books from, I got both brand new paperback copies, for about $13.00! :) I love good deals!

Apparently, Book 5 was canceled because someone leaked a part of her manuscript for Book 5!  So, I don't know if there will be another one.  

I finished "Breaking Dawn" yesterday while home sick STILL!!  I am so sad to be done with the series.  They just kept getting better and better!!!!

I am just at the end of Eclipse and going to start Breaking Dawn tonight.

Utah - have you read her other book "The Host"?  I'm going to go get that this weekend, just curious!

I did find that on the internet today as well, that she is not going to finish writing the book because it was leaked, but you can read the 250+ pages she has done of it online.  I guess it was Twilight re-written from Edward's prospective.
