I received this e-mail on friday, I saw that during the w-e, it had already make a whole lot of damage worldwide. So I decide to copy and paste it and post it on here.

Get this E-mail message sent around to your contacts ASAP.


PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CONTACTS!



You should be alert during the next few days.
Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,' regardless of who sent it to you.
It is a virus which opens A POSTCARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer.



This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list.
This is the reason why you need to send this e-mail to all your contacts It is better to receive this message 25 times than to receive the virus and open it.


If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Shut down your computer immediately.


This is the worst virus announced by CNN. It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.

But I have heard on the news that face book has some kind of virus in it. I really dont know much cause this is the only site I really go on but I will pass that along for face book users =)

I used to get alot of this stuff in emails. All kinds of hoaxs like the swiffer one and one about magic erasers. They even make up ones about missing kids somehow when you forward these emails they use them for all sorts of stuff. I guess some are just for fun others they collect (somehow) all the email addresses. I dont forward any of this stuff anymore unless I verify it and quite frankly I dont usually take the time to do that. They do this stuff to scare people and I never knew the difference until I got an email telling me what these people do I wish I wouldve kept it I would paste it up for everyone =)

It is better to report something like this and for someone to let you know it is a hoax, than to have a virus get in and destroy a hard drive.

I have spent days at a time fixing computers and recovering data due to viruses.

I got this warning about two years ago and as I usually do I checked it out with Scopes, McAffee, Norton etc. It turned out that it is a hoax. It, like the,'Postcard from a family member warning,' causes people to waste their time warning everyone they know about the threat. Just a gentle hint, before getting all worried about a possible virus, check it out with several companies that deal with viruses.
