(day 4) whats the best cure to RLS?

by Daisy Cr, Jul 25, 2007 12:24PM
i have been having restless legs syndrom (syndrome) all these 4 days and it isnt getting better. it drives me crazy...sometimes its more irritating than severe pain.
i spoke about it to my GP, but she didnt understand what i am talking about. she asked me if i was having pain, and when i said, i havent, she just said: "so what do you want from me?"

Try Hylands Restful Legs... its a homeopathic remedy  they also have one for Leg cramps depending on what you are feeling.. You should be able to buy it at Walgreens or CVS..

my doctor also gave me requip and it worked good..Also spent 2 nights in the tub with hot hot water...For me that is the worst w/d symtom i have, but i have had it all my life when i wasn't even using..they would just jump by themselves..That and the energy part is the toughest for me..
try the hyland restful legs too..
Good luck.

Eat plenty of bananas. They have potassium in them that will help with the RLS. Try Hylands, or ask your dr. for Requip or Carbidopa. THat worked wonders for me. Invest in a couple heating pads and place them on the problem areas, this will stop the RLS and allow you to get some sleep. The heat stops the RLS, just like when you are in the tub....

Good Luck...
