feel terriable

i am addicted to codine and am going cold turkey today is the second day my body hurts and i feel sick how long does this last

A lot depends on how much you were using and for how long. Post some more information.
Usually the 3-4 days are the worst with things getting steadily better after that. This is time limited and a lot like the flu. Mind set helps a lot. For codeine withdrawal I have not used anything fancy and in the past I have gone cold turkey and kept on going to work.

Also the thing that really helped me most was reading other peoples posts. I learned a lot and it kept me going.

i hope you hung in there....'cause the physical stuff is pretty much over by now!  If not, it OK, we all been there....just start over, you CAN DO IT!
