going to surgery tomorow.

i am back to square one tomorow. yep. new surgery for me. now my left knee. all i ask you to do is pray pray pray for me. i am so scared i will not walk. i am so scared i will use. i am scared.

other than that im ok. today my pain level is at an all time high. good news is now 9 months my right replacement is completely healed!! i have 100% range. and now were gonna get the left one started. i walked and walked and walked yesterday. i went to winterjam. a christian rock convention. i thought well...if im gonna be down for awhile..why not go out with some Jesus. and rock!. so now that im home and settled in. the fear of surgery looms in my head.


but thats not the real fear.....the fear of pills. the fear of detoxing again. the fear is real. now i am gonna try like heck to not take meds. but we know that is not gonna happen. lol. we are talkimg about an acl tear. and minuscus tear and bones under knee cap. can you say ouch!!

and ironically tomorrow will be 90 days for me. yep 90 and my celebration is good ole anethisia.

I will pray for you girl...You know I will.  You will get through this just like you've gotten through everything else...With your big heart, strength, honesty and sense of humour in tact!  These are some major tests, darlin' and my heart goes out to you.  I know you have all of your plans in place with the doc and your family.  Remember what a mind **** fear is....Don't psych yourself out or into using...
90 DAYS.  Wow...It's been one heck of a journey, hey?  Keep being honest with yourself and keep loving yourself and take GOOD care of you.  You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow...

congratulations on your 90 days. you are awesome. the LORD is so faithful. HE will bring you through your surgery. remember one day at a time is all we have. i will be praying for you and for the LORD to guide the doctors hands. please update us as soon as you can.

Your going to do GREAT! Just think , tomorrow at this time it will all be over and with all you have been doing to improve your health of late, you will heal quick. Sending you peace and strength. Try to only do the pain meds for a few days then ask about antinflammitories. xo

thanks all..i want to be thru the med by Thursday at the latest. to avoid detoxing. that's my plan. and only x amount of meds no matter what.  I pray for speedy health and recovery. had a blast last night. and now i KNOW i can BEAT pills

Hey girl, you are in my thoughts and prayers, stay strong you got this my friend, i know you do!!!!  Your strength and determination will get you through.  Take the pills only as prescribed and when needed, dont let the pain get out of control before you get to a point where the pain is not manageable.  Get yourself healed and then tackle the pills.  I am so darn proud of you and i know that you will come out of this with flying colors.  Treat your yourself to something yummy before midnight, try to get a good night sleep, lean on the Lord HE is with you my friend.  I pray for a speedy recover and i look forward to hearing from you when this is all over:)  Sending prayers your way

I am so sorry you have to do this. But, just stay in the moment.  You only have to get through this day.  Don't let yourself go too far with mentally wandering.  This would be a time to hold on to your  sponsor in NA or AA.  I know you can do this.  I am glad (at the least) it is time to move forward so you don't have to think too much about it!!!I am.  Get some sleep soon!!! I am very proud of you.

Hey there!  Good luck tomorrow, my thoughts and prayers are with you. When my husband had ankle surgery (2 pins, 8 screws) they couldn't get his pain under control, then I asked the dr if he should be taking motrin... the dr FORGOT to give him the anti inflammatory.. as soon as he started those he quit taking the pain pills as the motrin helped it all... but take what u need, and only what u need.  Xoxo
