Hi ev eryone,
  I was wondering if I can get in legal trouble because I know my AH is taking drugs and driving and gets into an auto accident?
  Is there other things that I can get in legal trouble for because I know about his addiction?

I think you could tell em they got you in a predicument and you do not appreciate it for starters. That is not only selfish on their part but putting you in this position is pretty selfish too. I do not know what you can do at this point but threaten to turn em in when they drive cause someone is going to get hurt eventually. I do not envy your position at all. Good luck to yu. I would not want a child, adult, dog or anything in his path and I do feel morally responsible.  Please understand that I am just not sure where to turn or how to handle this situation.

I think the only way you can get in trouble is if he is driving your car, or you are in the car with him, knowing he is on drugs and allowing him to drive...but what can you do, besides not get in the car with him, or hide his keys...

I am not sure about the legal aspects, but morally, would you want a child of yours out on the road in his path? I think knowing makes us  responsible morally.

Possibly, just as a bar can be held libel in some places for allowing a drunk to get in a car. I think it's called depraved indifference. I would think it would be a hard charge to make stick though. Doesn't mean you shouldn't hide his keys when he's using.
