on the 1st day of Christmas
(To the tune of Partridge in a Pear Tree) My higher power gave to me "a website with new friends just for me" :) 11 days my new friends have helped me find my way back. 11 days seemed so far off but here we are...12 days to Christmas and I am looking forward to spending the day with family without pills! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not giving up on me.

It great, truly a real great thing for you. Christmas is so much auspicious and you should not waste the time in addiction. If you will look into their eyes then you can find how much they love you. I hope you will think about them also before doing anything.

We never will give up on you! I know I wont! I think being able to stumble allows us to see exactly what we HAVE to do differently to stand on solid ground. Im so proud of you for not giving up on yourself!!

You're doing good......and sharing your joy already. I'm impressed LOL!
Every yr (I didn't go last yr cause I was too dopey) my family has this huge get together. We all bring "something sweet" and "something NOT sweet" to share, eat and gab for awhile. Then, some of the family plays their guitars and/or piano and we all sing Christmas carols together. We have a break, then the last half of singin. Our finale song and the one that's a blast is "The Twelve Days of Christmas". We number off in groups, 1 thru 12 and then when it's your day (number in the song) you act out your day, like "5 golden rings" or "six geese a laying" and we get pretty silly and crazy. The very last thing we do is that same song on FAST FORWARD!!
Hahaha....you should see some of these people.......acting like there laying geese a laying an egg Ha........try standing up when your number roles around and laying an egg fast!! It's great fun and this year I'm gonna give it my best shot. LOL I don't move real great since I hurt most of the time but we'll see what's in store for me this yr. Of course in the earlier yrs, I'd pop right up there and participate wildly (but I had PLENTY of hydrocodone in me to assist with that).
Just had to share when I read this......when you said "to the tune of Partridge in a Pear Tree" I laughed......cause I was singing your NEW words for that verse. You go girl~ And good on ya for getting back on after you were bucked off~
