Should an asthmatic get a flu shot

I have asthma and I have never had a flu shot. I heard that I should get one and I also heard that I should get one. I do have allergies sometimes, and I only get sick twice a year. Around winter when it's actually going around, and in the summer for some reason.

The Centers for Disease Control do recommend that all asthmatics get annual flu shots.  You can ask your physician whether it's appropriate for you to have a pneumonia shot--my docs never ordered one for me until I was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

every year, also get a pnemoccocal shot to prevent you from getting pnemonia, most definately
