Titanium allergy - dermal reaction

Hello everyone,

A relative of mine had orthopedic implants made of titanium (plate and screws). A circular rad patches started to appear and a titanium allergy was diagnosed.

The implants were removed three years ago, and the huge patches on the scar disappeared completely.

However, faded-red circular patches continue to appear and disappear. Now we are on the process of Mycosis Fungoides diagnosis, with inconclusive results.

Has anyone experienced something similar? We are completely at loss here...

Thank you!
