Zona

3 yrs ago I contacted a  skin disease call ZONA.  I was treated with antibiotic, ACYCLOVIR but unfortunately the drug was wrongly administered i.e. 1 instead of 3 per day.  Since then I suffer from frequent burning sensation and scratches at that spot.  I followed treatment with Dermatologist but it vain.
Please advise.

Isn't Zona - the same as Shingles? Did the drug cause your ithing or - the shingles? and I always thought shingles were really hard to get rid of? I thought it was a viral problem that takes a long time?? no?

I would go to your General Practioner or Internist if your Dermatologist isn't getting you the answers you need.

my wife is having allergy mostly when she get nervous or upset from something,
her dr said that she is maybe having allergy to many things and maybe she could be having zona
Kindly clairfy what is this all about? what is zona? what are the symptoms that she could have if she has so? and what is the cure for this?
