Hi, I am new here. I had allergies from age 35-45 every summer, I didn't go to the dr. but I am sure it was hay fever. This summer, they have returned, I am now 60. They started at the end of May, (mostly on the left side) an attack weekly, sometimes up to 4 in a week. The last one was 2 weeks ago. After the attacks, I would have one sided throat pain when swallowing, Eustachian tube hurt, some ear pain when swallowing. For a week now I have been dealing with the following: neck a little swollen below the ear, possibly glands, and a little pain, off and on mild headaches, top of head, around the ear, base of scalp (Tylenol helps this) this is ALL on the left side. Right ear if I press just a little on the little flap, brings on pain. I have no insurance, I pay out of pocket. I have a great doctor Ive had 35 years, and may end up having to see him. When I had the attacks I had hard sneezing many many times in 1 attack, VERY itchy eyes, palate itching, and terrible inner ear itching, Right now, I am just dealing with a little pain on the side of my neck below the ear. Today, I am having ear pain and pain when swallowing in the right ear. If I touch the flap it hurts, No idea what is going on,. Eyes are itching also. Thank you for reading.
