I have the exact same problem.  One armpit that itches with no change in deoderant, soap, etc.  There isn't even a rash that is visible.  Did you ever find out what is causing the itching?  Have you tried any products (ie - anti fungal cream) that has solved the problem?  Please email me with any advice?
Thanks!

Hi,
It could be due to fungal infection of the skin. Do you have discoloration in the same armpit?
Fungal infection of the skin usually affects warm, moist places and is common in hot months when we sweat a lot.
OTC anti-fungal medications are available in powder or cream formulations. You could apply it in affected area about 3-4 times a day.
Also try an anti-allergic medication for the itching.
If there is no improvement in 3-4 days then you should visit a dermatologist for further investigation.
