As a follow-on, always take aspirin (and for sure Advil) with food, never on an empty stomach.
Thank you that's very reassuring.
Advil is supercharged ibuprofen I believe, if you didn't have any allergic reaction to that a low-dose aspirin should be a "walk in the park", nothing to worry about.
Thank you very much for ur reply. I have never had a reaction to Advil and always took it before I got pregnant. I think I will just give it a try and just keep a close eye. Thank you again
Hello and hope you are doing well.
Have you been using aspirin for the past four years? If you have been taking the medication, its unlikely that you may develop an allergic reaction now. In general, reactions to aspirin are common. If you have an aspirin allergy or sensitivity, you may also have a reaction to other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, others) and naproxen (Aleve, others). Allergic reactions can cause hives ( raised red blotches, itchy or painful ) swelling of the tongue/ lips/ throat, dizziness, and many other symptoms like coughing or wheezing.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
