Hello there,
Christy1111 gave you some excellent information regarding food allergy tests and food sensitivity tests. I was also wondering if you take any prescription medications as the things you talk about like heart palpitations
and breathing problems can be possible side effects of certain prescription medications. Just a suggestion I wanted to offer you. I wish you well. Eve
Thought of something else. When you see your doctor, have blood work done. Ask for them to check all your vitamin, mineral, amino acid levels, etc. Sometimes levels can get really out of balance and you may need prescription strength supplements. I had been trying to build my magnesium levels for years with over the counter supplements. When my doctor measured my levels, they were so low that he had to prescribe a supplement that was about 10 times normal strength. After 6 months, I began having major heart palps (always had them, but they were getting very strong.) He added a taurine supplement. He explained that 50% of taurine is stored in your heart muscle and when your taurine level gets really low, you can have cardiac type symptoms.
Just keep doing what you are doing. Ask for help, explore different ideas and suggestions. Sometimes you body can be like a puzzle and you have to piece your health back together one piece at a time.
All good advice. thank Christy i should do that.
nope, no drugs, just lotsa problems:( almost totally sure i have an ulcer, and have suffered for many years before with gastritis. i have a hiatal hernia which could be part of it (it causes pressure on my heart and lungs) but definately certain foods trigger it. Yeah i heard of taurine! apparently because of glutamate in foods we need it to balance (free glutamate in MSG competes with taurine). i will try all of this my doctors never test me for nutritional problems which they probably should have a long time ago. probably h pylori too.
