Can i just start using DMSA

A friend of mine told me that fillings in my teeth contain certain metals. he advised me to let them be removed and replaced with none metal fillings. and after that i should start with DMSA chelation.

Is it wise to just order it and start using it?
Now i would like to know what are the risks of using dmsa?

Hope you can help me.

Kind regards,

Anglique

You can't chelate out the mercury in dental fillings.  You have to have the fillings removed, very carefully, by a dentist who knows how to do this safely.  The reason you can't chelate them out is that they are lodged within the filling -- if you chelated it out, the filling would fall apart, but don't worry, you can't do it no matter what you try -- it's very purposefully lodged in the filling so it doesn't fall out.  The reason you have to do this carefully is the same reason you never want to remove the asbestos lodged in your walls in a precipitous fashion -- it's much more harmful if it comes out in quantity than if it comes out in dribs and drabs.  So the dentist has to know how to vent the toxic metals out of your system so they don't make a bad situation worse.  As for cilantro, don't expect it to be strong enough to chelate out anything that is cemented into place in your body.  It might do a little chelation, but to do a lot takes a lot of time and work, and the success of chelation of any kind is unproven -- it's theoretically proven, but not in actual real people.  My dentist doesn't use fillings with heavy metals in them, but who knows what's in them that we'll find out years later are also toxic?  What chelation can do for you is reduce the amount of heavy metals that have already leached into your system, but keep in mind that neuro-toxins such as lead and mercury are most harmful to the very young (which would include pregnant women), so be aware that the main damage if any was done a long time ago.

The only way to remove this heavy metal is through a process called chelation. This involves putting a substance into your body (usually through an IV) that grabs ahold of any heavy metals (aluminum, lead, and mercury, for example) and excretes them through the urine.
I know some alternative docs who are gung ho about IV chelation therapy especially when it uses a synthetic amino acid known as EDTA or another agent known as desferroxamine. But I have my reservations. Yes, it may remove the metals, but it’s cumbersome, expensive, and has been known to have numerous side effects—and when it comes to aluminum, it’s still a roll of the dice whether it can work or not.

But as it turns out, nature has provided us with its very own chelating agent—cilantro. Over a decade ago, a doctor named Yoshiaki Omura discovered that simply eating this common (not to mention, tasty) herb increased the amount of lead and aluminum secreted in the urine.

In order for it to be effective as a chelating agent, you should add fresh cilantro to your food every day for a few weeks. Don’t worry —you don’t have to eat cilantro for the rest of your life. But in order to prevent the long-term build-up of heavy metals—and to lower your chances of getting Alzheimer’s I do recommend doing this at least once or twice a year.

Now, I’m not offering cilantro as a surefire prevention or cure for Alzheimer’s, but given its safety and the absence of safe, effective alternatives, give it a try. For extra benefit, add some daily chlorella, a fresh water algae and excellent detoxifier. I like Nature’s Way brand: Take three capsules, three times a day, of this super food.

Over 150 years ago, dentists discovered a new, less expensive way to fill cavities in teeth.
With silver being so expensive, they found that they could mix an assortment of metals together to form a mixture that was easy to pack into a cavity. The mixture was composed of 45% to 52% mercury, 30% silver and small amounts of copper, zinc and tin.
The medical society at that time  The American Society of Dental Surgeons  opposed
its use because of the known toxicity of mercury. It expelled members who continued to use it. Soon, so many dentists were using the toxic mix that the original society collapsed and the rogue dentists replaced it with a new one. It is still with us today.
You’ll know it as the American Dental Society (ADA). The ADA has grown into one of the most powerful lobbyists in Washington, and in your state as well. About 150 years later, dentist are implanting 180 million mercury-containing amalgam fillings a year into unsuspecting people’s mouths. That includes millions of children. Because, even early on, medical doctors were aware of the extreme toxicity of mercury, the ADA covered up the danger by creating a grand lie. The group merely told the public and its own member
dentists that as an amalgam, mercury was not released but rather stayed safely locked inside the filling. The ADA continued to tell this lie until just recently, when the evidence was so overwhelming that the group had to admit that the element was released in vapor form and that 80% of that mercury vapor was absorbed into the body. In fact, a number of studies have shown that blood levels of mercury rise several times when people with amalgam fillings chew or drink hot liquids. In fact, in one study they found that even
chewing on a piece of rubber tubing increased blood mercury levels as much as twofold in people with amalgam fillings. The shocking realization is that people carry their fillings around all the time and they chew frequently. Just think about how many of us chew gum
and drink hot liquids every day. In 1990, the EPA outlawed the use of mercury-filled interior latex paint because studies found that people living in houses covered in this paint had dangerously high mercury levels in their tissue. The Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) set the safety limit of mercury in the air at 50 ug per meter squared
(50 ug/M3) of air. Measurements of the air in the mouths of people with numerous amalgam fillings have exceeded this level (reaching as high as 150 ug/M3).
