Didn't mean to imply it's a natural bacteria in our bodies.  Just that our bodies are occupied by all kinds of parasitic life forms, some beneficial, some not, but they're always around us and in us but most of us don't get sickened by them due to our immune systems -- otherwise, there would be no people, as we all drink some bad water and bad food frequently in our lives.

No, not everyone has h.pylori in their systems, it is contracted thru bad water or food. This often occurs when we are children (not always).  It can remain dormant in our systems for many years before causing a problem, but is not a naturally found bacteria in our bodies.

Everybody has h.pylori in their systems.  Whether it causes disease or not is dependent on an individual's immune system.  It also can lodge in different parts of the body.  If it's in your digestive system, it's responsible for causing ulcers.  The treatment is an intense antibiotic regime, but you can try manukka honey and mastic gum and DGL, three supplements or foods that have demonstrated the ability to kill h.pylori.

H.pylori is usually contracted as a child, and thrives in your digestive tract until adulthood which is when it usually presents with symptoms..  There is this possiblity that you have passed it on to your children, but you can get them tested and treatment.  It's not your fault that you have it, it takes a long time before showing any symptoms.  I say count your blessings that you have this knowledge and can take the appropriate steps to helping your children.  Take care....
