Is weak legs part of a cognitive problem?

My 93 year old mother is loosing her cognitive memory and abilities. Does that have anything to do with the fact that when she is tired, she looses strength in her left leg and tends to fall. When real tired, she can not move. After a brief rest, she can move for a few moments but scared now that she might fall again. Does anyone aware of these symptons? No pinched nerve and brain scans show nothing.

yes sad to say. my mom started out some days not walking good saying her legs were week, now she was 67 when this started as time went by she did start to fall and  would havea hard time getting her legs to work after sitting for a while, she fell many times because she didnt want to use a walk.

now at 72 she is total bed ridden because one day she just didnt walk again, she had a lot of living to do but it has robbed her of what life she had left, now she lays in a bed all day looking out a window.

i have always said live your life each day to the fullest, if there is something you want to do do it while you can.

so yes , plz make sure she has a walker and someone is with her 24/7 now, the falling causes their brain to jar and makes them go down hill lots faster. take care .
