To young for Angina?

To young for Angina?

I'll give you a bit of background about me first; I'm 23 years old and have two children, a three and a half year old girl and an 8 week old son. Both my pregnancies were normal and smooth as well as the deliveries. Two weeks ago I got the Mirena (IUD.) and that is the only 'medication' I take other than prenatals (I'm breastfeeding my son.) So here's my trouble. About 10 times over the past three years I've been getting intense pain in my upper abdomen and under my breastbone. It feels like someone is standing on me, I'm nauseous and dizzy,I can't breathe, I break into a cold sweat, I can't lay flat or sit as this makes it worse, however, walking isn't much of a relief. The only thing that helps me cope is to stand in a luke warm shower with the water hitting my chest. Once the pressure finally releases, I am extremely fatigued and want to sleep. In the past the episodes have only lasted up to about 5-7 minutes. Today though, it lasted for about 20 minutes, and I was seriously considering calling 911. Now as far as the cause, today I was doing the dishes, a few weeks ago when I had an episode, I was riding in the car. But most of the time it happens while I'm sleeping. Once it happened in the middle of an argument with my husband.

I'm worried because 3 of my grandparents have heart disease. My grandfather has had multiple heart problems and recently had a triple bypass.

Oh and also I had my gallbladder removed in May 2010

First and foremost you need to make an appt. to see your family doctor my friend...it could be something...it could be nothing but i personally wouldn't wait at all....some of the symtoms (symptoms) you have posted are throwing red flags all over the place and you sound like you have a family that depends on you.....as far as your family history goes w. the heart...the one thing that could throw a red flag is that if anyone in your family has ever had a heart attack at age 50 or younger ...that doesn't mean you will it just means you are in a higher risk group....your heart is your own just like your fingerprints....if your grandfather had a XXX bypass from blockages that could simply be from bad diet thru out life or high blood pressure...we can learn from our families on what not to do trust me....the IUD could be the issue here if its new and they don't come without issue or cause and effect..make an appt. as soon as possible to at the very least put your mind at ease....good luck with this.
