Pain in your hip could easily be related to your back. The sciatic nerve could be pinched. Also, back pain changes the way you sit, walk, stand, etc., which leads to stress and pain in other parts of the body.
Gentle exercise to keep your back muscles strong could help. Ask your doctor for advice.
hello, i have severe arthritis all over my body, i also have a bone disease. when you have any low back pain it almost always goes ito the hips. this is what my ortho told me. i have a fractured hip and fractured spine, several disc ruptures and nerve damage. it is more than likely that the arthritis had moved into your hips. i would tell your md about it to be on the safe side. with osteo your bones are weakened. good luck to you and god bless, kbe234
Your explanation is the most sensible I have ever heard for this type of pain, wonderful insight!
