Hello...

So here I am on another forum. Let's see, that makes 4 now. Just a little about me and to say HELLO EVERYONE. I am a 53 year old male. I have Osteo in both hips from a head on car accident in 1975. I also have Osteo in both my shoulders, right one being the worst. Had impingement surgery last year which helped that problem, but the Osteo is real bad. Ortho wants me to get shoudler replacement but I told him since he is retiring I'll pass, he just laughed. Other then that, well if you want to know more just look me up. Again, I look forward to speaking and making many friends here. Whoops, better ask a question heh...If I really swing my stiff shoulder hard the way it doesn't want to move, will it crack off? lol...

Thank you for understanding, as it is hard for anyone to really know what I feel and want. I do not fear the surgery, but rather the question. Will i be better off with it or without it? The surgery of course...lol

Hi there!  Sounds like you have been through it.  I think if you move that arm in the direction it does not want to go really fast then you might decide you are ready for the replacement surgery after all!  I can relate to waiting on it, though.  Some folks are the poster children and wish they had done it years before.  Others wish they had waited until they just could not take it any more.  Big decision that and no turning back.
Glad to have ya here!

Hey there, Brother!!!!  I tell ya arthritis *****, *****, *****....But you already know that.  Now about your question, do you want it to crack off?  Silly boy, but if having the replacement surgery will make you feel better, why not have it done?  I am here for you, Sweetie.

Love,

Ada
