Hi, good ? that I wonder about too ... I am on Mobic 15mgs daily for ankle/arthritis tendon problem and my Vit D was recently DX'd at severe with 9 on a scale of 32-100 being normal.
I am now on high dose Vit D and level was 32 when ck'd last.
I am on 50,000 iu's a week ... was on 100,000 iu's the first 6 weeks of Vit D being monitored. They repeated $1,600 worth of bloodwork 2X to be certain it had nothing to do with my thyroid because of small thyroid cancer found and removed in '07 and I had a clean bill of health in that they think mine was from lack of sun since a Melanoma was removed, also, in '07 and a change of lifestyle styaying out of the sun and higher SPF sunscreen since then. It's a double edged sword.
So a really good ? indeed .............. Can Anti-inflammatories deplete Vit. D ?
I read your letter.....I too am anxious to see what they say about this.
I did up my Vitamin D by another 1000 this morning. now taking 2800 IUs
We shall see...I don't have a doctor, mine just disapeared....lol....now can't get into a new one until February.
