It is best advised to consult a rheumatologist for appropriate management at this time. Management may involve anti-inflammatory medications and DMARD’s i.e. disease modifying agents; which are usually indicated for long term management of the condition. Meanwhile you could try resting the joints and OTC NSIADS for pain relief.
