Surgery is the most severe form of medical intervention, similar to trauma, and some believe that our bodies respond to surgery just like it does with trauma -- with inflammation.
So, it is possible that your all over pain is due to inflammation resulting from surgery.
Sometimes finding a reason for pain helps in the treatment of pain, and sometimes there is no reason for pain, other than the diagnosis of chronic pain.
Be well.
I am so sorry that things have not improved since your surgery. I have not got the same problem as you, but as I have severe arthritis in my spine, which hurts all the time, wonder why you had the surgery.
What does the surgeon say who operated. Did they think that the surgery would leave you with no pain? I have a neighbour, who has recently had major spinal surgery, and she says the pain is no better.
Hopefully you will get a reply from someone who has been through the same as you. It is of interest to us here who have arthritic spine.
