Sjogren's

Does anyone else have a diagnosis of Sjogren's on just a schirmers test? I have no antibodies to the Ro/SSA or La/SSB on any test over 2 years.

Hi.  I have been diagnosed with mild sjogren's from symptoms even though my tests are negative.  Antibody tests can help confirm a diagnosis but they do not decisively determine a diagnosis.  For example, an antibody test could be negative for RA and yet you still get it or it could be positive for RA and you never develop it.  If you have dry eyes, there could be other causes but sjogren's is a definite possibility especially if your test results fit the criteria.  If you are in doubt you should get a second opinion.
