Hi Again,
I did comment to your same post in our Pain Management Forum.
http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Pain-Management/severe-pain/show/2757868
I was going to suggest that you post in this forum also - but noted you had done so. I'm wondering of you have a specific question?
Do you know what labs they ran? As you know RA is an autoimmune disorder. When you have RA it can lead to concerns about other autoimmune conditions. Do you know what they have R/O?
It's important that you know exactly what tests were done and the results. Educating yourself will help you going forward. If you don't have a copy of your medical records covering the last six months I encourage you to obtain a copy. Study them and know all the terms and theories - do your research. It truly will help you going forward.
When a medical provider discuss test results ask lots of questions, lots. Additionally by obtaining your medical records it will provide you with a basis to better understand just what tests have done, results, meaning, possibly the next step, etc. If you need help digesting those tests we'd be happy to help.
I hope something I have offered here - and in our PM Forum - has provided you with some assistance. Please keep us posted. I will be interested in hearing more from you.
Best Regards,
~Tuck
