What kind of Dr looked at them?  I am thinking you need to have a chest x-ray or even an MRI done.  Have you hurt yourself recently?

My husband was in a rollover accident last year and he broke his sternum and the muscles and ligaments around the ribs were torn from the seatbeat.  He was in a lot of pain.

I'm not a good one for how the muscles and ligaments work but I think you need to see a specialty Dr like a rheumatologist or an internal med Dr.

I am sorry you are having all the discomfort.  I think you need to have that checked out by a doctor as soon as possible.  It could be many, many things and it is best to have a Dr look and feel them.

I am here if you need to talk.
