sore upper arm

feels like sore muscles between shoulders and elbow.  hurts when i lift my arm above my head

I am 73 and have pain in my upper arm,can not reach behind or lift up. I use topical  bengay  or activon. it gives some relief. The more i use arms the sorer the are so limit cleaning activites-alttle every day. i am hoping  warm weather will help.Good luck

Hello!  Have you tried using heat or ice?  Did that have an effect?
