I honestly don't know the statistics.  Has you husband discussed this issue with his doctor?  Have you discussed this issue with your doctor?  I don't know how long you have been trying to get pregnant, but there are options for you to try that may help (such as IUI- intrauterine insemination).  If you are having difficulty getting pregnant you should discuss it with your doctor and he/she can help you investigate some options for you.  Good luck,

No, it is not always present.  When a man becomes aroused, the penis leaks some pre-ejaculate.  A man cannot usually tell when it is going to happen and generally doesn't feel the fluid leak out, however it does contain sperm.  This is why the "pulling out" method of birth control is not that reliable.

So pre ejaculatory fluid is always present?

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

I cannot quote you statistics, but pre-ejaculate (the fluid that leaks out of a mans penis before ejaculation) contains sperm.  It only takes one sperm to fertilize an egg.  It is possible to get pregnant from having sexual intercourse in which the man does not ejaculate.  Also, infection with STDs is possible without ejaculation.  Hope this answers your question.
