Vitamin that doesn't make me sick to my stomach

I have tried every over the counter Vitamin and everyone of them makes me sick to my stomach. When I was pregnant I couldn't take prenatal ones either for the same reason.

Is there a mild Vitamin that I could try? I know I should take vitamins because I am borderline anemic and it seems to help stop me from becoming anemic so fast.

Is there a vitamin that my doctor could prescribe me that won't cause me to become sick to my stomach?

I didn't even think of that!  I may be allergic to one of the vitamins. For now I take over the counter supplement for iron and potassium since that is what my blood tests keeps coming back I am low on.  I would like to take vitamins on a regular basis because I know it could help my body more.

I will talk to my doctor and see what I can do to find out if I have an allergy to a specific vitamin.

Maybe you are allergic to one of the vitamins in the mix. I found I was allergic to vitamin C (and all citrus). I was treated for this by a kinesiologist and for the firs time since I was 10 years old I can eat oranges (and take vitamin C).

Hi,

I have the same problem with vitamins.  A brand named "New Chapter Organics - Every Woman's One Daily" was recommended to me.  I have been successful with these.  I started by taking 1/2 pill and when I felt everything was going to be okay I went to a whole pill.  The pills are big and they are pricey.  I purchased mine at a health food market.  I hope this helps.

I have tried it on an empty stomach and on a full stomach. I have tried taking it in the morning and at night.

Many people have problems with vitamins upsetting their stomach. Before recommending any type of specific prescription med, I would suggest that your try taking your vitamin with a large meal. This might help you avoid the upset stomach.
