I have fitness induced asthma, and my doctor put me on advair or something like that. And the next few days after taking it, I got really bad chest pains when I'd run. Has that happened to anybody else? Should I worry?

Advair can affect the heart. I know someone who cannot take it for that very reason. (Simbacort is the same way.) See if you can get a script for Flovent. It does not have the Serevent like Advaid and Simbacort.

I hope this helps,

I would talk to your doctor about the side effects - advair has some nasty side effects that can be serious depending on age, health, other medications etc.  There can be cardiac related things going on related to the medication or simple heartburn from it but it's better safe than sorry.
