Asthma is an allergic condition with paroxysmal attacks of chest distress and shortness of breath including wheezing and orthopnea. Before the attack, the patient may have some prodromal symptoms such as  itching in throat ,sneezing, coughing and cheset distress

Foot bath:

Two eggs are boiled in a decoction of the following herbs: Yuxingcao (houttuynia) 60 gm, Zisuzi (perilla fruit) 30 gin, Wuweizi (magnoliavine fruit) 20 gin, Dilong (dry earthworm) 30 gm and Chenxiang (eagle wood) 10 grn for 30 minutes. Hello and welcome to the community.

So sorry you are experiencing this.  It is uterly miserable!!!  I have lived with similar issues the last three years, only I did have asthma attacks from every odor except mint.  There were many times when I would have to pull an pot or pan off the stove and go treat an asthma attack.  The last three months have been better for me since I was treated for an underliing lung disease.

Yours doesn't sound like asthma, but it does sound like a reactive airway disease.

I would recommend that you see a SUBERB allergist that specializes in odor sensitivities.  They should be able to get you on a treatment plan that reduces your reactivity to odors.

Praying for you.
God bless.
