long time bad cough and sputum
i m suffering from bad cough from a month.
i also have the problem of white sputum with cough
my blood report is as follows
hemoglobin 14.9
total leucocyte count 5200
diff leucosyte count
neutrophils 57
lymphocytes 38
eosinophils 05
monocytes 00
basophils 00
ESR 15
i have shown my chest x-ray report to physician tht was normal according to him.
please guide me about my problem
and advice me the right treatment

Ask for full pulmonary function tests, that is the way I started and it got worse and worse.
However, all my values were normal except lung volume that showed air trapping, so I technically don't have asthma, it is only reactive airways because I am not bad enough to be considered asthmatic.
Methacholine challenge tests test how irritable your airways are and can be used if normal function tests are normal.
