Sorry, but asthma is an inflamatory disease. It does not go away, but requires constant monitoring. The underlying inflamation must always be treated and monitored.
Feel better.
thank you for your reply:)-can the asthma issue go away on its own as it came ???
Hello,
Sorry about your diagnosis, but many adults develop asthma after/with respiratory viruses. Your symptoms and the situation resulting in your diagnosis are normal.
Advair contains both an inhaled coticosteroid (ICS) and a long-acting beta2 agonist (LABA - broncho dilater). All broncho dilaters are stimulants and can cause your heart to race/thud and you can be shakey. It is my experience that after about a week on the medicine these side effects subside as your body adjusts to it. I would guess that it is the medication. I was fine on Advair, but had horrible reactions to Symbicort. After the first week the reactions stopped.
Take care and feel better. It would be wise for you to read as much about asthma as you can. An informed patient is an empowered patient. your doctor relies on you to be able to communicate well about your symptoms and how your medications are working. I have had to bring ideas to the table many times. The more you know about your asthma the better control you will achieve as well.
