I don't know if it is a seizure or not....It seems like the shaking is more from feeling so cold than anything else. No rash. He really doesn't have these episodes very often but not very consistent either. He might have 2 or 3 one month and none the next month or two. The more I research, the more I think it may be a thyroid disorder or something, I dunno.... Thanks anyway guys.
Just a question, is joint pain part of the seizure disorder?
Does he ever have a rash on his face or chest?
My disorder is called Simple-Partial seizures with Aura. The symptoms are much like those of a severe panic attack only panic attacks don't have the Aura. The aura is where you start feeling REALLY weird like your going to go crazy, feel like your going to die right before you seizure, limbs with pins and needles, numbness, especially in my lips/face, headache, my muscles will burn, freezing, profuse sweating, and this could last all day before I have a seizure in the evening. Video games don't bother me (hubby is relentless with those, lol). After I fall asleep he'll come to bed and turn on the TV, the lights and sound goof me up sometimes, not always. Mine were caused by my autoimmune disorder but you don't have to be autoimmune to have them. Evenings when my body and brain are tired is when I would have the most. Sometimes repeated episodes.
haven't noticed any more symptoms...I thought about anxiety too but he says mentally/emotionally he feels fine. Doesn't get sick very often, that part throws me off.... He does sweat profusely so maybe it is the seizure thing. I didn't think it was because I know 2 people who have seizure disorders as well and one of them is completely conscious the whole time but mentally freaking out and unable to do anything but wait for it to pass, and the other one who has epilepsy blacks out and doesn't remember a thing about the episode. Neither of these seem to be the case... The main (strongest) symptom seems to be the feeling extremely cold part. I haven't noticed and light or sound triggers, he plays video games often and rarely takes an medication, defiantly not antihistamines. What kind of seizure disorder do you have?
