Joint Pain

Hi,

For last two days, I am experiencing severe pain in toe and ankle (both legs). Every morning I wake up with this pain, which during the day advance to wrist and arm. I can feel that the pain is neither muscular or or skin but is related to bone. Further, as this is happening for only two days, I thought it might be exhaustion or something I did wrong during my regular morning jog.

I haven't seen any doc till date, will go to general physicist today. Can anyone suggest, what is the likely cause for this...

Regards,
Ratnesh

Sorry it took me so long to respond, went camping w/ the family.

Really, it will just come down to the symptoms and lab results.  W/O the lab, it is just a guessing game.

It says you are 28.  That is too young for osteoarthritis.  Do you have any other symptoms beside joint pain?  Maybe fatigue, dizziness, blurred vision, anything.

I appreciate you response, but considering that I jog alternate days (that too not regular) plus a short distance only. I am not sure that I overworked any part of my joints.

However, other options are not discarded; Scary list there is. I have gone for RA and ESR this morning. Will wait till evening to get the results.

Do you have any other observation, I would prefer less scary this time like a normal inflamation of joints a passing thing etc etc...

I certainy could be that you overworked your joints jogging.  Other options could be osteo arthritis, rheumatoid arthrits, low vit D, and low thyroid.
