Some advice if possible

I am a 34 year old female with Hashimotos.  For over a year I have had on and off joint pain.  My last lab work was over a year ago with a negative RF, CRP 5.2, thyroid antibodies over 1000.  I have an appointment with my GP on the 20th.  I have been having a very bad flare up of something again this week, not able to sleep, joint pain everywhere and extremely tired. My dad has Diabetes 1 and thyroid disease, my mom had Rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, thyroid disease.  My symptoms have been joint and muscle pain, severe fatigue, acid reflux, chronic headaches, chronic back and neck pain, I have endometriosis, Irritable bowel, dry skin, electric shock feeling in legs at night, muscle twitching, depression, weakness, severe fatigue.  I currently take synthroid, nexium, celexa, omega 3 and vitamin E.   If anyone has symptoms like this or knows if this just might be the hashimotos... or maybe a second auto immune disease...  Thanks so much

Thank you Kara Jo!  I actually went into the hospital 2 evenings ago because I was in a ton of pain.  The Dr. I seen was awesome and I got all of the blood work done, a ton of antibody tests, ANA, RF, so we will see what the tests come out like.  I have done some reading on the lupus too, and it seems a little funny because I also got last night impetigo in my nose as well.  And I read that lupus also causes rashes which I mostly always get from being in the sun.... I do not have the bad butterfly rash on my face though.   I guess I will find out next Monday.  Thanks so much!

There is a lady who goes by thyroidian that could probably be of more help.

Some of your symptoms sound like hashimoto, but some sound like maybe lupus.  I would encourage you to ask for an ANA test.  BE SURE AND SPEND TIME IN THE SUN PRIOR TO YOUR DR. VISIT. (even if it is cloudy)  What this will do, if you have lupus it will cause the ANA to be elevated.

Celiac goes hand-in-hand w/ hashimoto.  I would encourage you dr. to do this very simple blood test too.  Symptoms are diarrhea and joint pain.
