Hypothyroidism with array of autoimmune symptoms

I am a 25 year old female who was diagnosed with hypothyroidism approximately 3 years ago. My thyroid levels are properly maintained according to blood tests, however I have had an array of other symptoms for approximately 7 years that are getting progressively worse. My current doctor has done a vast amount of blood work and the only thing that came back positive was an elevated white cell count once, and something showing my body had inflammation in it. My other symptoms include the following:

* Front and back neck pain, varying degrees
*Joint pain
*Arm numbness
*Fatigue
*Weight loss resistance
*A burning/tingling sensation underneath my shoulder blades
*Swollen neck glands (sometimes more swollen than others, but always slightly swollen)
*Random low grade fevers
*Frequent sore throats, jaw pain, and TMJ

Anyhow I was wondering if anyone knows if these symptoms are tied into my hypothyroidism, or if I should be asking for more tests, and what tests to ask for. I am really at my wits end, at the age of 25 I shouldn't have to fight with my body to accomplish daily functions. Thanks!

for the past 5 years, i have been experiencing extreme deep burning pain throughout my whole body 24/7. i have been tested for lupus, ms, hiv, diabetes, have had a colonoscopy, endoscopy. nerve conduction study, small bowel follow through, heavy metals testing, b12 levels, everything comes back fine. i do have acid reflux and a hietal hernia i found out and there were 3 polyps removed one of which was precancerous, but it's not related the dr says. this pain is worse with heavy foods. starts rapidly in my back through my torso area then straight to my extremities. my feet and hands turn beet red and burn really bad. this is all internal heat. there's no rashes or anything. there has to be answer or some relief out there some where. it just hit me one night like a stack of bricks and has never gone away. does anyone else experience this or does has anyone had this problem and was fixed. any ideas or suggestions?

Hi,
Ok I have had all these symptoms and i too am hypothyroid - had tests that indicated autoimmune disorder and many joint pains, tiredness, weight loss resistance, ulcers in nose, dialy migraines despite preventional meds etc etc I was taking steroids and preventional meds for migraine as well as antiinflammatories and thyroxine.
5 weeks ago a therapist asked me to try cutting out nightshade family of veg (potatoes, tomatoes, chilllies, peppers ) - i didnt think it would work but at that point after many years of pain and lisery i was willing to try anything. Five weeks later i have absolutely minimal joint pain,no migraines at all, losing weight relatively easily, energy improving etc. Also only taking thryoxine of all other meds - now i cant promise tha for you obviously and i have rheumatoligist review soon so ill then see if the antibodys in my blood have also settled down (they were sig high over three tests) but it may be worth a try??
Good luck!

I went to one, my blood work came back fine except for something indicating inflammation in my body. They just gave me pain meds and sent me on my way.

I also have hypothyroidism but was just recently diagnosed with Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.  I have many of the same symptoms you describe.  Many other autoimmue type diseases have similar symptoms too.  You should ask him to send you to a rheumatologist and have a complete blood and urine analysis done.  Good luck.
