In my early years I went to a good chiropractor who kept me into my sports. They're great. My insurance won't pay for them anymore though, or I'd be going. With my present PT program that my Physiatrists has me on, I can actually hear my back crack and line up every morning on its own.
Years ago my brother-in-law and I ran 3 miles, and then put up 72 bales of Hay in the Barn Loft. I think that's what started it all. Our backs harden as we get older. Now I have a typical diagnosis of Spondylosis and multilevel degenerative disc disease.
Thank you for your answer
I have been to MRI few times and it says nothing! Im also training and very active but the sprints and jumps from basketball are those who are killing me. The MRI showed that the disk is not pressing any nerve so I have not really had a nerve pain all this time. Only lower back pain. I have a Khyropractor who is the best here in Iceland and he fixed my hip and it released a lot of pain. I just want to be pain free and it seems impossible.
Have you ever been to a sports medicine Doctor (Physiatrists) and have had an MRI on your back? It's good to have an MRI so you know where you stand. It's possible to have disc bulges and hernias that aren't touching nerves, but they are effecting your muscles. I'm still quite active in sports and have had back problems for years. 2 years ago I made a wrong move and a 9cm hernia stuck into my sciatic nerve. It's took ESIs and PT for me to recover from it. I also have 3 bulges and a dislocated S1. I go to a Physiatrists and I do PT every day so I can keep moving and still be active. The older I get the more parts that fall off!
