BP with no health insurance

This isn't really a question I guess so much as a search for reasurance

I have Bipolar... I also have MS...  But very limited health insurance... (only RX benifits) limited Doctors visits and absolutely no mental health

I did at one time have mental health benifits... I was diagnosed I had been on meds for a few years fast forward about 4 yrs ...

So I got this bright I dea that since medicare part D would pay for my prescriptions I took a few old bottles into a doctors office and asked him to fill them.

I have been self medicating now for over a month.

I am now taking Topamax100mg 2 times a day
wellbutterin sr 200mg 2 times a day.

I have been on these medications before as I have been BP for a while... I don't remember topamax making me so rollarcoastery like this.  When I was on it before my DRs made me go in for monthly liver tests...

I get to have lots more blood work done now but only have the liver work done once a year...

Anyone have any advice besides just go back to suffering through the swings??

PS I don't qualify for metal help and I kinda was less than honest to get the meds

I'm sorry you're feeling so desperate about your treatment.  I think you're wise to want to be on meds, but you already know what you're doing is dangerous. Where I live in Illinois there is a community mental health agency where I get my counseling, nursing, and psych care.  A long time ago a private doctor reduced his fees for me.  I hope you can find something- something- where you are.  I'm kind of worried about you.
