MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your friend’s son’s medical problems.  The results are just outside the range. This could be due to recurrent illness probably viral in origin and subsequent decrease in appetite. If possible, improve the child’s diet, give some multivitamin for a week or two and if he still continues to fall ill, then malaria, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, infectious mono-nucleosis, and other viral infections need to be ruled out.
Engage the child in some games to build up his appetite. Give him fresh fruits, juices, soups, egg, milk, chicken broth, cereals etc. Try to avoid ready made meals, canned and tinned foods, and outside food as much as possible. Hope this helps. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
