Decreasing white blood count

Hi, two months ago I got a 6400 as my white blood cell count.

Yesterday I got 4700.

I know that both results are in range but I am concerned because the decrease.

Is it normal to have that severe decrease in two months? Could I expect my white blood cell count will continue decreasing to abnormal ranges?

I have very weird symptoms since January but all my tests are getting normal (chest pain, postural tremors, muscle pain, acne, etc.)

Hi!
If there is increased infection and the body cannot fight it, the WBC start going down as the pathogen start engulfing them. However, if there is no fever, it is not due to infection.  Chemotherapy, and radiation therapy are the other causes. Other common causes of low WBC are flu, lupus, Hodgkin's lymphoma, some types of cancer, typhoid, malaria, tuberculosis, dengue, enlarged spleen or hyper-spleenism, and folate deficiency. Since you have muscle and tremors, you need to rule out folate deficiency. Please discuss with his treating doctor to run tests to find the cause. Take care!

Thanks a lot! I'll ask my doctor to rule out folic acid deficiency.
Any findings I will let you know!

Thanks again!
