To add something, i had the Total Protein/Albumin test 2,5 years ago and the levels were
Total Protein 8.7 Albumin 5.2 Globulin 3.5 So Globulins are elevated by 0.3g/dL.
Also total calcium is 10.2 which if corrected for my albumin is:
10.2 - (0.8 * (4.0 - 4.4) = 9.88 right?
Hi!
Yes, conditions like autoimmune disease, MUGS, multiple myeloma can raise the globulin levels. In your case, chances of autoimmune disease are more as other blood tests are normal. The only other finding is low folate. Low levels can be due poor intake of folic acid rich food (green leafy vegetables, yellow fruits, avocado, beans, lentils, cauliflower etc) or due to malabsorption syndromes (IBS, tropical sprue, Crohn’s, celiac etc) or due to eating disorders causing malnutrition.
Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please consult your doctor regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!

I had the test done again in another laboratory and it was Total Protein 7.0 Albumin 5.1 & Globulin 1.9
