help!! OCD overload- blood found on car ...not ours!!

Hi, my husband just went out to the car to fetch our kids eater eggs in and on his handle there is a load of dried blood, he saw it there last night when he went to the shop presuming it was bird poo as it was dark so he did not touch it, in the light it appears someone may have tried the car handle as it is where the knuckle would touch the car to open it. My husband has no open cuts on his hands but does suffer from very dry and sore cracking skin where he gets slight cuts that do not bleed on his hand and obviously this has majorly freaked me out being a terrible OCD sufferer.... is this anything to worry about? As far as we know he has not touched anything wet but can anything be transmitted? PLEASE HELP /REPLY asap  before full blown panic attack sets in lol!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Usually dried blood does not transmit Hepatitis B or HIV or any other disease. Chances of catching any serious thing from dried blood is less. Your husband should drink plenty of fluids (soups, water, fresh juice) to keep himself hydrated. In addition a healthy diet and lifestyle will keep him calm and happy. Normally, this should not be  a cause of worry.  Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
